Underglazed handmade ceramic plate N3 by Narcissus

The design of the piece is inspired by the goblet motifs of Nishapur (Samanid era),“3rd-4th century AH”.

Execution Technique: Underglaze painting and sgraffito.

 

Completely handmade.

Double-fired in the kiln at 1085 degrees Celsius.

Fully functional, washable, and decorative.

The underglaze technique involves painting on ceramics using various metallic pigments. If necessary, the sgraffito technique (scratching) is employed. Then, a layer of clear, colorless glaze is applied, and it is fired again in the kiln at the appropriate temperature.

Since the painting is done entirely by hand, each piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind. If you desire a similar piece, please note that there will definitely be some changes.

Because the product is handmade, a minimum of 14 days is required for ordering and manufacturing.
